Dr. Joe Novak, Psy.D is a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois with over 30 years of experience with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Mojgan Makki is a practicing psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience. She is double board certificated physician with American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child, adolescents, and adult psychiatry. She has extensive experience in treating psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. She is a distinguished fellow at AACAP and works tirelessly advocating for children and adolescent mental health through her involvement with national organizations and her work with American Medical Association and psychiatric associations. She has been on the board of directors of the Illinois Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and currently she is a delegate to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has served as a medical director in inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit at Rush Medical University and established and directed specialized programs for toddlers and preschoolers. She has been a mentor to peers and trainees. In addition to her private practice in two locations (Northfield and Chicago), Dr. Makki is a consultant to a number of schools in Cook County and the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL).
Her philosophy of care is collaborative care with the families, schools, and other clinicians working in the team.

Dr. Gary Hill is a licensed clinical psychologist, a licensed marital and family therapist and a certified supervisor addictions counselor in the state of Illinois. He also has post-doctoral training in family systems, having completed both the clinical and advanced externships at the Institute for Juvenile Research in Chicago. Dr. Hill owns GRH Consulting, LLC, based in Northfield, Illinois. He has an extensive clinical background treating individual adults, families, married couples, and school age children. Dr. Hill is an expert in trauma and the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, having been called to New York’s Ground Zero four times after the 9/11 terrorist attacks to console families of the victims and to assist with the relief efforts. Dr. Hill also has a broad business background, having completed the Kellogg Management Institute program in General Management Training at Northwestern University. His work in the corporate world includes being a regional vice president and a national director of provider services for two managed care health insurance companies: Cigna and United Healthcare. Before forming GRH Consulting, LLC in 2009, he was the director of clinical services at the Family Institute at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. A sought-after industry expert, Dr. Hill has been invited to speak at numerous national conferences and routinely presents his training seminars in both the Chicagoland area, as well as throughout the country.
